Orange Honeydew Melon
Oval-to-round and a delicious cross between a cantaloupe and a honeydew, the very fleshy juicy orangish-yellow pulp of the orange honeydew melon is encased in a hard very yellow matching rind.
Galia Melon
The Galia melon has a lightly netted golden yellow rind with a pale glacial green succulent flesh that has a signature spicy sweet flavor with tropical and perfumed aromatics.

Description/Taste
Yukon Gold potatoes are an early bearing variety that produce somewhat flattened globular shaped tubers. Their rough yellow-brown skin with shallow eyes surround a distinctive yellow moist & waxy flesh. When cooked the flesh is buttery and creamy.
Nutritional Value
The nutritional and sustainable value of potatoes can not be overestimated. Although they are three-quarters water and one-quarter starch, they have enough vitamins and protein to provide sustenance as a singular food source.
Applications
Yukon Gold potatoes are great for making french fries, as well as hashbrowns, gratins and purees. They pair well with cream, butter, olive oil, shallots, garlic, bacon, cheese, fried and scrambled eggs, pork, sausages, white and red-fleshed fish, beef, lamb and herbs such as oregano, cilantro, basil and tarragon.
Geography/History
The potato originated in South America, spanning back to the early 1400s. There are 200 types of wild potatoes species, and potatoes are often used as feed for animals on farms. It was a Peruvian variety with a distinct yellow flesh and rich flavor that originally inspired the creation of the Yukon Gold. The Yukon Gold, itself is a hybrid variety. Gary Johnston, considered an agricultural icon, bred the first Yukon Gold variety at Ontario Agricultural College in 1966 from a potato from North Dakota, called "Norgleam" with a wild South American yellow-fleshed variety (W5279-4). Before it was named for marketing and distribution, it existed as the pedigree, G6666-4y. Today the Yukon Gold grows throughout Canada, the Midwest and Western regions of America.
