The Adriatic fig is a self-pollinating tree which bears green to yellowish fruit, that is thin-skinned with a sweet, flavorful red pulp.
Summertime sub-tropical fruit, ripening in June on the previous year's growth, called the breba crop, and again in August on current year's growth, known as the main crop.
Tolerant of a wide variety of soils from sand to clay. It can withstand heat, humidity and coastal climates.
Perfect for eating fresh or preserved.
