Description/Taste
The Piel de Sapo, also known as a Christmas type melon tends to be a smaller melon. Its has a yellowish green rind that is speckled with a darker green. The lighter green almost white flesh is sweet, aromatic, juicy flesh with an excellent crunchy texture. It has an oval shape and weighs between 2 - 4 lbs. Piel de Sapo will continue to ripen off the vine. The stem of the melon will have a slight give when they are ready to pick.
