Description/Taste
The leek is a member of the Onion family and is classified as an annual or biennial. Leeks have long slender green leaves and a large white bulb on the end. The Leek bulb offers a somewhat sweet flavor, as well as a pungent onion taste and the green tops are similar in flavor, just milder.
