Beans - China - Cultivation
China beans are an annual climbing vine that grows best in warm weather and full sun. They require mild soil that is mixed with rich, organic matter and should frequently be watered to keep the soil moist, but not overly soggy. China bean plants can grow to be three meters in length and need to be trellised or grown on a wall to support the spanning vines. They are grown from seed and are typically planted in the spring after the last frost. China beans are harvested within two to three months of the planting date and should be harvested daily as the beans mature rapidly. In warmer climates, China beans can be grown year-round and harvested multiple times per year.
