
White Corn
White corn is a sweet corn variety. Its ears are wrapped in tightly layered pale lime green to white husks. One ear of corn can contain up to 400 kernels growing in rows lengthwise.

Many of the older artichoke varieties are grown from cuttings and will be left in the field for many years and harvested many seasons from the same plant. Rutiz Farms grows emerald variety from seed and as an annual plant, and only harvests from the plant for one season before plowing them under. The Emerald variety is favored because it is thorn-less.
