The White creamer potatoes are the young immature and tender version of a common white variety potato. The skin is pale burlap in color, thin and rich in moisture content. The flesh is not pure white, rather a light yellow. Its flavor is creamy and texture, waxy. When cooked the potato's flavors are mild and buttery with an airy textural quality.

White creamer potatoes are botanically known as Solanum tuberosum and are a member of the Solanaceae family. White creamer potatoes are miniature tubers harvested from many different varieties of white potatoes. While they are often collected from specific varieties such as California White, White Cascade, and White Rose, they can be harvested from any from any white potato plant as long as the tubers are appropriately sized. Their tiny form is due to their being dug before they are able to grow to their mature size which leads to a minimal starch content.
A 150 gram serving of White creamer potatoes provides one with 50% of their daily vitamin C and 15% of their iron. It also has nearly two times the potassium contained in a banana. They are very low in calories, fat, and sodium.
Creamer potatoes are a versatile ingredient commonly prepared by boiling, roasting, fried, grilled, or mashed. They are often a key ingredient in soups and potato salads.
