A colorful array of unusual cherry tomatoes, Rainbow Cherry Tomatoes each have their own distinctive color and flavor. They include a variety of red, orange and yellow cherry and teardrop tomatoes. The juicy pulp of these thin-skinned tomatoes contains tiny edible seeds.
Nutritional Value
A good source of potassium, tomatoes offer protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, fiber plus some iron and calcium. Tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant and anti-cancer agent. Studies have shown that tomatoes are helpful in lowering the incidence of cervical and pancreatic cancers.
Applications
Perfect in salads or as a snack. Add to stir-fries the last few minutes until just heated through. Serve on toothpicks with cheese and fresh sweet basil for a colorful appetizer.
