Roselle may be used raw, dried or juiced. The fruit's tart flavor requires a sweetener of some kind, and it is successfully used like a cranberry in recipes for jam, jelly, chutney and even wine.
Barrel Cactus Fruit
The fruit of the Barrel cactus is best prepared in sweet applications, since its natural tartness lends itself well to a hint of sugar. Cook the fruit down with agave syrup to make a jam, jelly or a sweet and sour chutney.

The Petite™ Citrus Mix is part of a Trademarked line of specialty greens grown by Fresh Origins in San Marcos, CA. Designed to be slightly larger than microgreens, they are harvested after 2-4 weeks of extra growth. They offer more robust flavor, bolder color, sturdier texture and ultimately more versatility.
The different herbs in the Petite™ Citrus Mix provide iron, vitamin C, antioxidants, thiamine, potassium, beta-carotene and magnesium.
The Petite™ Citrus Mix offers a more robust flavor and more substantial texture than many other micro greens. The Petite™ Citrus Mix is best used lightly dressed with a bright olive oil or a sprinkling of salt and is a highly versatile garnish for seafood, meat, poultry and cheese courses.
