Moringa pods are produced from the Moringa tree, which is also known as the "drumstick" tree. Moringa pods are long slender green pods that range from 6 to 18 inches in length. The inner pods are about the size of a pea, are round in shape and have a plump flesh. Pods are encased in an outer paper thin coating and offers a mild horseradish-like flavor.
Moringa pods are available year-round.
