The MAG melon was developed specifically to have an exceptionally sweet flavor and aroma. Similar in appearance to the classic cantaloupe melon the MAG melon is covered in a golden tan hued, roughly netted exterior. Its interior flesh is tender and juicy with a superbly sweet flavor and vivid salmon-orange color. Its seed cavity is smaller in size than the classic cantaloupe melon yielding a melon with more edible flesh.
