These carrots are similar to the Nantes varieties, having both round shoulders and a blunt non-tapered tip. They have a firm and crunchy texture with an earthy sweet flavor.

Yellow carrots accumulate xanthophylls, pigments similar to beta-carotene that support good eye health as they are absorbed as Vitamin A in the body.
