
Mangosteen
The Purple mangosteen, botanical name Garcinia magostana, simply referred to as mangosteen, is an ultra-tropical slow growing evergreen tree that is cultivated for its edible fruit.
White Corn

Description/Taste
Fairytale pumpkins have deep ribs, a brownish-mahogany color, a smooth exterior and a sturdy stem. They are reminiscent of the classic Cinderalla story pumpkin.
Nutritional Value
Low in calories and high in fiber, pumpkins are a good source of beta-carotene which converts into vitamin A. Pumpkin seeds are high in protein, iron, and the B vitamins.
Applications
Fairytale pumpkins can be used in any pumpkin recipe. Their rich flavor is highlighted well in soups and used as filling in pies and tartlets. Excellent flavor combinations include rich and creamy flavors such as coconut, cream cheese, feta cheese and gorgonzola. Blend with cinnamon and sugar to bring out the natural sweetness.
Geography/History
At first growing dark green, sunlight eventually turns the color of this variety to its unusual color when reaching maturity. An old variety native to France, its French name is Musque De Provence. 10 foot prolific vines produce these lovely 12 to 18 inch pumpkins about 110 days after planting.
