Galia Melon
The Galia melon has a lightly netted golden yellow rind with a pale glacial green succulent flesh that has a signature spicy sweet flavor with tropical and perfumed aromatics.

Mache has been cultivated in France since the 17th century, and in France it is known as doucette. It is also known as "lamb's lettuce" because its leaves resemble the size and shape of a lamb's tongue.

Baby mix lettuce is available year round.
Description/Taste
Baby Mixed lettuce can include many varieties, but we typically have blends that include Red and Green Oak, Lollo Rosso, Red Romaine, Green Romaine and Tango to create a variety of color, flavor (mild, bitter, peppery, green), shape, and texture.
Nutritional Value
Most lettuces provide varying amounts of vitamins A and C, folate, and iron.
Applications
Depending on the combination of lettuces, baby mix lettuce can be used on its own as a salad or mixed in with other more traditional salads (Caesar, nicoise, cobb) to change up the look or flavor. Add to appetizers, use in a sandwich, or add leaves to a sushi roll or hand roll. Braise or saute and blend with cheese to create a stuffing for pastas or vegetables.
