Description/Taste
Bright green leaves with a look similar to flat leafed parsely. Pleasingly aromatic and highly flavored similar to celery, but saltier. Lovage provides excellent flavoring for soups, stews, salads and casseroles, and is a natural salt substitute said to be high in vitamin C. A member of the carrot family, lovage is used as a folk cure for minor stomachaches, headaches and kidney problems in some parts of Europe.
