Seasons/Availability
Pineapple tomatoes are available in the summer months beginning in July.

Description/Taste
Bicolored red and yellow fruit grows very large, up to 2 lbs. Ripens to a beautiful bright yellow, often with red stripes, both inside and out. This variety has a meaty flesh with relatively few seeds. The flavor is wonderful, rich, fruity and sweet.

Geography/History
A material called rockwool is used to stabilize the tomato plants' roots and to hold the nurturing water. The hydroponic growing process allows the vines to grow vertically as high as twenty feet tall. Automatically regulated, the water is kept at seventy-five degrees and the humidity level at eighty-five percent. Because the farming area is enclosed and wind is not an option for pollination, Beylik Family Farms uses the help of bumblebees for pollination purposes.
